Interior design is something that I have always had a passion for, ever since I was a little girl. I have always been addicted to HGTV, TLC, DIY Network, and anything else that had shows with design in it. I’ve researched everything from gardening to house flipping, so I know a thing or two about design and all that it entails. In this blog, I just want to be able to share my expertise with you.
In terms of my life in the dorms, that was fairly short-lived. I got married the second semester of my freshman year, and I immediately moved into an apartment with the man I now call my husband. In spite of my short time in the dorms though, I have a great deal of experience in decorating small spaces to make them look the best they possibly can. I use this experience as fuel for my blog posts here.
I’m not a licensed interior designer, and I have never gone to school for anything related to the subject. I’m just a girl that likes design and who happens to be talented behind the keyboard. This blog is the lovechild of my writing skills and design ideas, and I’m pretty proud of what it has become. I hope that you can stick around long enough to feel the same way.
Enough of the introductions though. You will learn more about me by reading my blog than you will by reading me ramble on and on about my life. At the end of the day, you are the one that has to find your own inspiration for what you want your dorm to look like. I can’t do that for you. If you find the right colors and the right organization system, you can make your space look at badass as possible. Maybe a post or two around here can help you do just that. Quit reading and start exploring. You’ll be a much happier designer that way – promise.
